The Palace of Fine Arts

We watching sail boats we went to the Palace of Fine Arts... There were a lot of people wandering around so it was hard to take photographs without people in them.. With the help of photoshop and Trees and Bushes I managed a few... Here are some photo from the day...I always enjoy the palace of fine arts, even when it is overcast and crowded :

Trip to San Francisco to see the Americas Cup Sailboats

We had a good time going to San Francisco a week ago..We changed drivers when we got into the city as Yvonne used to live there and was familiar with the streets. while she was driving I took a couple of photos through the window of the car...I particularly like this one..It was processed on my Ipad..The birds were added for effect. :

It was an overcast day..When we got to the marina, the Sailboats were practicing right in front of us... here is my favorite photo of the sailboats:

While taking photographs of the Sailboats I looked over at the 

Golden Gate Bridge .. I took a couple of photographs and 

Processed them on my Ipad. I added the birds to the photographs,except the lower bird, which was in the original photograph..I changed the location of the birds in each photo...(Click to Enlarge)

We decided to have lunch at the Safeway store...A bag of lightly salted corn chips, two submarine sandwiches, and a large bottle of peach flavored diet snapple.. around $10-$12..The sandwiches were great.

When we got through eating, we decided to go to the palace

of fine arts..On the way I got a snapshot of a Cable car..

Full Moon in June

I heard that the June full moon would be the closest to the earth...so on June 22nd Yvonne and I went out to find it...We were driving along Silver Creek rd and we saw it rising above the hills.. here is the result of my photographs by the silver creek golf course. I gave it a painterly effect in photoshop cs4: (click to enlarge)

When we were through there we went to the Villages Golf course and took a few photographs through the trees..This is my best result:

Sure beats watching television..haha

Sutters Mill in Lotus, Ca

We had fun going to Sutters Mill...It is a State park in Lotus, Ca.
There is a Museum and lots of old Buildings and Mining  equipment from the 1800's...Here are some photos:

Rving along the American river

This month we went camping along the American River not far from Sacramento, Ca.at Lotus,Ca...It is the first time I have been along a river camping in a long time...Here are a couple of photographs :

After a few days we moved to Jackson, Ca to camp with my daughters in the Casino RV Park..It was fun...

Ocean Panorama

Last night I was listening to a youtube tutorial on Nik software. (Nik software is now owned by Google)....Afterwords I made these two panorama's in Photoshop with the Nik Software plug-in's.
