July 4th at the Villages

Every year, at the Villages senior community, they have their own July 4th celebration. All of these photographs were taken with my Panasonic fz35 pt and shoot camera. Here is one of the street corner decorations..

and a photograph of one flag.

We went to the Villages parade ...Here is an antique car with flags on the fender.

There was an elderly gentleman (age 89) behind me.. I took photographs of him.. before I left I asked him if he had an email address so I could send them to him...Sadly he didn't.

Here is another one..followed by a black and white conversion.

Last is a photograph of a golf cart converted into a flag holder.

July Full Moon Fun

I went out to take photographs of the full moon..Here are a couple of composites. (Click to Enlarge)

I took a photograph of a bird while waiting for the moon..

Lots of fun..

One flower at the end of the day

The other evening, just before the sun had completely set, I spotted this flower with beautiful lighting shining on it.. It was all alone.. I grabbed my little canon elph HS 300 and luckly  got two photos just before the lighting disappeared.. Here are some photographs, of the flower, after I worked on them in Picasa and Photoshop.           (Click to enlarge)
