Ipod Photo to a Corel Painting

The other day I took a photo of my girlfriend Yvonne, with my IPod touch... The file was less than one megapixel in size.. I loaded it into photoshop  and upsized it to 8x10 so I could paint it in my Corel Painter Essentials 4 program:

Then I loaded it into Corel Painter program and did a clone impressionist painting.. Followed by blending with the just water brush to smooth out the skin tones..For just a snapshot I thought it came out really nice. (Click to enlarge)

See you next month.

Trader Joe's Flowers

Every time I go to Trader Joe's store I always look at the flowers..I always take a few photographs with my IPhone ..There were some tulips in my favorite colors:
I then took this photograph into corel painter essentials 4 and made a impressionist painting out of it:

The Silver Creek Country Club

I went to the Silver Creek Country Club happy hour.. I was intrigued by the stairs..Pretty fancy
Here are two IPhone photos taken and processed in various apps.

Car Show at the villages

This month I went to a car show at " the villages" in San Jose, Ca.... I am not really a car show buff but I enjoyed looking at the very old cars... There was a "Henry J" car and a "Stutz".. they played 50's music and I got to even dance a few dances... Here are a few photographs I took with my IPhone:

Now for the "Stutz".. My dad owned one during the depression..

The steering wheel was on the right side.. I had a lot of fun taking photos of the gages on the dash. .. I think they make neat subjects.:

There were some 50's cars ..The first one is a TBird convertible interior

This 50's car is set up like it was parked at a drive-in
